Our consultations include an exam and cone beam scans to produce 3D images of your teeth and jaws to help us determine your best orthodontic options.

Meet Dr. Helen Hau
Dr. Helen Hau is a board-certified orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics who is committed to serving patients of all ages.
She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude and was accepted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Hau enjoys mastering and employing the latest innovations in orthodontic treatment in her practice so treatment is as effective and comfortable as possible.
How We Help Round Rock Smile
Braces use brackets and wires to straighten even the most severe cases of misalignment. Braces can be beneficial for children as young as six years old to adult patients. We offer many options for braces to make them fully customizable to the patient. They can be clear, metal, or fun colors, depending on your preferences. Eighty percent of our patients receive braces because of their efficacy.
Clear aligners gradually correct mild to moderate misalignment over 12-18 months. They are a great orthodontic option for teen and adult patients who prefer a discreet alternative to braces. While our office offers Invisalign®, we often prefer to create our own clear aligners in our on-site lab, giving Dr. Hau better control over your treatment plan and resulting in aligners that have a more accurate and comfortable fit.
The teenage years are a prime time for orthodontics because patients have all (or nearly all) of their adult teeth, and their jawbones are still softer, making them more responsive to repositioning. While we can provide clear aligners for teen patients, braces may be best for more severe cases of misalignment.
